Don't get me wrong, my life here in Houston is terrific. But I just miss Chicago, my friends in Chicago, my family, and home. Thanksgiving is only a month and a half away and I can't wait to fly in to Midway, spend 5 minutes in the terminal bundling my warm-weather-acclimated body up in several layers and brave my way out into the brisk November air to meet up with my parents at the car. The weather here has definitely been feeling decidedly fall-ish, but it's nothing like being back up in Chicago this time of year. Counting down the weeks!
