My mom saw my post earlier this week about missing Chicago and home and autumn and so she snapped this picture for me of one of the trees on the street where I grew up in all of it's orange and crimson glory! So sweet! I may not be able to enjoy any brisk fall weather this weekend (although this coming Sunday the weather in Houston will drop to a whopping 54 at night and only 72 during the day - woohoo! Too bad we jump back up into the 80's a few days later....), but I will be enjoying my weekend nonetheless. My current plans include
dinner and
bowling tonight with friends and B's birthday celebration tomorrow. I'm also hoping to make my way into town for a Central Market binge and to swing by the
Houston Greek Festival!
