Have a Happy 4th of July!

We have a busy 4th of July weekend planned!  We're hitting up St. Arnold's Brewery tomorrow for their lunch and some board games with friends.  On Friday I volunteered to work the morning shift (to be nice to my coworkers) and then we're meeting up with yet more friends for a whiskey tasting followed by a possible cookout with family.   Saturday is lunch in town and then yet another cook out with my friend R.  We're both major foodies and both supplying food - marinated flank steak with a lemon, arugula, and feta salad, grilled corn on the cob, German potato salad, my homemade guac, grilled peaches with blue cheese, and a berry cobbler.  It's going to be delicious!  We're hoping to fit some sparklers and fireworks in there somewhere too!  I've been busy compiling a soundtrack for this food and friend filled weekend o'fun.  Check out my classic Independence Day Playlist:
