Venus Transit

Last week a rare sight was caught on film by NASA, the transit of Venus across the face of the sun.  This occurrence is rare in that it happens in pairs (separated by 8 years) that are separated from each other by over 100 years.  This last happened in 2004 and will not happen again until 2117!  The imagery is pretty incredible, my favorite shots being the ones that show the highly active sunspots and solar flares on the surface of the sun.  Enjoy!!
