Travel Bug

It's been over 3 years since my last major vacation.  That's a long time.  I've taken a handful of long weekend trips and then there's always the holidays with family, but I NEED to travel somewhere on a real vacation! My Thailand trip is still in the works, but postponed for a while.  I texted my mom this morning on a whim to see if she wanted to go on a week long guided trip to Egypt with me at the end of December, but with the impending expenses of my brother's wedding, that's just not feasible now.  While somewhere international would be ideal, I'd be perfectly happy exploring a new area of the US that I've never been before either, like Marfa, TX and Big Bend, or Palm Springs, CA, or Portland, OR, or even somewhere in the Northeast to see the leaves change colors in the mountains.... ANYWHERE!  Does anyone want to travel with me?!?!?
