No, I can't golf, but I can still get sore trying...

I had a super busy weekend consisting of a trip into the city on Saturday to reconnect and hang out with friends, browse a fun and very hipster craft fair, and play Uno on a roof top deck.  The weather was fantastic and it was a terrific time!
Sunday was family day, so I took a 3 mile walk with my mom, went to the driving range with my parents and my brother, and spent the evening grilling out, playing with the dogs, and attempting to kick my brother's butt at Rummikub.  We both wound up losing to my dad.  This was only my second time attempting to swing a golf club and while I was able to connect a couple of times, I'm not exactly an overwhelmingly good golfer.  (In fact, I came dangerously close to a hitting a house in the neigborhood next to the range a couple of times.)  Fast forward to today and my arms and back are super sore.  I know I'm out of shape, but I'd feel a little better about it if I at least had a halfway decent golf game to show for it...
Adding to my discomfort today is the fact that I spent my entire day standing up and talking at local schools about my job with the shuttle program.  I love talking to kids about what I do did and getting them interested in math, science, and engineering.  But doing it all day (in heels) definitely took it's toll on my body.  I'm EXHAUSTED! Off to bed to try to recouperate before I go to talk at my old high school tomorrow morning (at 7:25 am - ugh!).
