We are excited to announce that Andromeda is officially a big sister!!! Meet her new little brother, Corbin Thomas Chladek who joined our family on July 3, 2019 at 4:20 am weighing in at 6 lbs and 8 oz.
Corbin and I got through the ordeal of childbirth just fine, though I think I fared slightly worse of the two of us. Kiddo arrived too fast for me to get my drugs and all I can say is that it was INTENSE! Andi is thrilled to pieces and just absolutely adores Corbin. She can't get enough of him and it's the sweetest thing ever.

For those of you wondering why we chose the name Corbin, don't you worry, we still got pretty nerdy. The name first came up in our deliberations because it is the name of the lead character in one of our favorite SciFi movies - The Fifth Element. But we couldn't cement its place on our list unless it also had an astronomical association. Well it turns out that Corbin is a derivative of Corvus which is the raven constellation. Ok, sold. And the cherry on top is that Corbin is also
a variation of the Hebrew name Korban, which means a gift to God. Thomas is a family name on S's side, it is the middle name that he, his dad, and his grandfather all share and now we are adding Corbin to their naming tradition.
