I went home to Illinois this past weekend for a quick trip to see the family. I got to hang out with my mom and my brother, get a pedicure with my mom, see some extended family at my cousin's baby shower, sleep in, eat some delicious food (including a fresh batch of homemade yolk-free chocolate chip cookies), play some Rummikub, and help my mom cook. And to top it all off, S surprised me by waiting for me at my place when I got home late Sunday night to ward off snuggle deprivation!
